And thanks for the reference…I read the article, and it’s an interesting thought.  I suppose a power play is a possibility, it’s something I could see myself doing, but it’s a rather unattractive answer.  I don’t think anyone wants to admit that they’re playing those head games.

Unconsciously, however, I think there is a lot of truth in this.  Relationships are constant struggles to find a balance that is incredibly precarious.
